The city’s urbanists have introduced possible development concepts for the Danube Amphitheatre; this amphitheatre is made up of the area between the Dorcol Marina, to Ada Huja and onto Karaburma – which is currently an industrial zone slated to become a future commercial/residential area. All new ideas on this project call for harmony between the river and the city, with the added bonus of a great boulevard that will transect it. There is also talk of a possible canal, which will connect Belgrade’s port with the small Ada Huja inlet. Although there have been talks of Belgrade finally reaching out to the river Sava (Sava Amphitheatre) the chances for Belgrade actually greeting the Danube in open arms are much more realistic. The first step in Belgrade’s development of the Danube waterfront will already begin in March 2007, when construction begins on the marina at Dorcol.

Gradski Urbanisti su predstavili moguce koncepte razvoja Dunavskog Amfiteatra. Dunavski Amfiteatar obuhvata celo podrucje grada od Marine Dorcol pa do Ade Huje i Karaburme koje je sada industrijska zona cija ce se namena u buducnosti promeniti u poslovnu i stambenu zonu. Svi koncepti predvidjaju simbiozu grada i reke uz veliki bulevar koji bi sekao celu tu zonu, razmislja se i o uvodjenju kanala koji bi povezao luku Beograd i rukavac Ade Huje. Iako se godinama uglavnom pricalo o silasku Beograda na reku Savu (Savski Amfiteatar), trenutno su sance za silazak Beograda na Dunav daleko realnije, prvi korak silaska na Dunav bice zapocet vec u Martu 2007 kada zapocinje izgradnja marine na Dorcolu.
