Beobuild crew made a tour of the new administration and operations building for Serbian air traffic services agency. The new center is being constructed on the “Nikola Tesla” airport in Belgrade, and it will have 9000 sq/m of space including underground garage and storage area. The construction started more than a year ago, so after longer and more complicated underground structure works, now they have reached third floor and making good progress towards the deadline.

It will be the most up-to-date center that will implement the latest radar and communication technology to cover big part of this region which is under its authority. Because this center will control significant part of European airspace and has respectable traffic growth rates, this modernization project is supported by European investment bank and European bank for reconstruction.

The land lot for this new facility is placed in the triangle between public garage, Museum of Aviation and overpass road and covers an area of 2 hectares. The entire investment is estimated to be 90 million Euros and deadline for its completion is summer 2010.

Ekipa Beobuilda obišla je gradilište nove upravno-administrativne i operativne zgrade Agencije za kontrolu leta. Novi centar kontrole letenja koji je u izgradnji se nalazi na aerodromu "Nikola Tesla", a imaće 9000 kvadrata prostora uključujući magacinski deo i garažu. Izgradnja je počela pre manje od godinu i po dana, i posle nešto dužih podzemnih radova, na zgradi se već lije ploča za treću nadzemnu etažu.

Radi se o najsavremenijem centru koji ce implementirati najnovije radarske i komunikacione tehnologije za pokrivanje velikog dela našeg regiona, koji je u nadležnosti ove službe. Kako Agencija ima odgovornost na značajnom delu evropskog vazdušnog prostora kao i respektabilan rast prometa, projekat modernizacije podržala je Evropska banka za rekonstrukciju i Evropska banka za obnovu i razvoj.

Plac za ovaj moderni centar nalazi se u trouglu između garaže, muzeja avijacije i nadvožnjaka i prostire se na 2 hektara. Cela investicija se procenjuje na 90 miliona evra, a rok useljenja kontrole letenja u novu zgradu je leto 2010.
