Zemun - Borca bridge | Report

At the construction site the Zemun - Borca yesterday was celebrated the first day of Chinese New Year, and the event was attended by various officials from Serbia and China, as well as representatives of CRBC (China Road and Bridge Corporation) and the City of Belgrade. We used this opportunity to present our visitors with a report on the works and the work plan for this season.

The construction site on the Borca river bank significantly intensified since our last visit, when we introduced our readers with details of the project. In the meantime, the whole operation grew noticeably, and the preparation for the construction of the bridge is entering its final phase. The location is now equipped with production facility for making metal frameworks and a concrete plant. They already received more than 30 large and 20 small construction machines, which will be included in the construction of this major project, and number of machines and workers will grow further as the work progresses. The number of employees who engage in the later stages will be doubled from current 134 to 260 next year, plus another 13 large machines that will work to build the main bridge structure.

The construction is currently focused on completing the construction of temporary bridge that will be used for concrete constructions of bridge superstructure and underwater bridge piers. So far they built 781 meters of temporary bridge on Borca side, including 146 out of 330 planned piles. The temporary bridge is made of steel pipes, hammered into the ground using a special crane with a vibratory hydraulic hammer. The construction of administrative building and camps for workers, as well as all temporary access roads to serve the construction sites were also completed.

At this stage, we will divide bridge into three components, primarily the main bridge (the stronger part of the structure on rendering) with a length of 362 meters and two access bridges. The main bridge will be connected to the coast with an inundation bridge, where a length of northern access is 297 meters, and a length of southern section is 97 meters. According to officials, all necessary materials for drilling and construction of structure on the northern access is ordered and it will be delivered to the site by the end of January.

For this year its left to fulfill a few preparatory conditions primarily related to the expropriation of land on the Zemun side that must be completed by mid this year. Also it is necessary to build a temporary structure from the Zemun banks, in order to be able to start concrete works. The concrete works for this year will include completion of the undercarriage of the bridge’s southern access, then the main bridge foundation segment, zero segment on the northern side, and finally the construction of substructure for inundation superstructure of the bridge on the northern banks. The deadline for completion of all works on this bridge is October 2014.

Na gradilištu mosta Zemun – Borča juče je svečano proslavljen prvi dan kineske nove godine, a događaju su prisustvovali razni zvaničnici iz Srbije i Kine, kao i predstavnici CRBC-a (China Road And Bridge Corporation) i Grada Beograda. Iskoristili smo ovu priliku da za naše posetioce napravimo izveštaj o izvedenim radovima i planu rada za ovu sezonu.

Gradilište na borčanskoj obali je znatno intenzivirano od naše poslednje posete, kada smo čitaocima predstavili detalje projekta. U međuvremenu cela operacija je primetno porasla, a pripreme za izgradnju samog mosta ulaze u završnu fazu. Na lokaciji je izgrađen proizvodni plac za izradu armature, dok je nedavno postavljena i fabrika betona. Već je pristiglo preko 30 velikih i 20 manjih građevinskih mašina koje će biti ukljućene u izgradnju ovog velikog projekta, a broj mašina i radnika će dodatno rasti kako se bude napredovalo u radovima. Broj angažovanih radnika od 134 će u kasnijim fazama biti dupliran na 260, a u narednoj godini će pristići jos 13 velikih mašina koje će raditi na izgradnji glavne konstrukcije.

Izgradnja je trenutno fokusirana na završetak izgradnje privremenog mosta koji će biti korišćen za betoniranje mostovske konstrukcije i podvodnu izgradnju stubova mosta. Do sada je izgrađen 781 metar privremenog mosta na borčanskoj strani, pri čemu je već pobijeno 146 od 330 planiranih šipova. Privremeni most je izgrađen od čelicnih šipova, pobijenih korišćenjem specijalnog krana sa vibrirajućim hidrauličnim čekićem. Takođe je završena izgradnja upravne zgrade i kampa za smeštaj radnika, kao i svi privremeni pristupni putevi za opsluživanje gradilišta.

U ovoj fazi most ćemo podeliti u tri komponente, pre svega glavni most (jači deo konstrukcije na renderu) dužine od 362 metra i dva prilazna mosta. Glavni most će sa obalom da spaja inundacioni most, gde je 297 metara dužina severnog pristupnog mosta, a 97 metara je dužina južnog pristupnog mosta. Prema rečima zvaničnika, sav potreban materijal za bušenje šipova i severnu pristupnu konstrukciju je naručen i biće dostavljen na gradilište do kraja januara.

Za ovu godinu ostalo je ispuniti još nekoliko pripremnih uslova koji se pre svega odnose na eksproprijaciju zemljišta na zemunskoj strani koja mora biti završena najkasnije do polovine ove godine. Takođe neophodno je izgraditi privremenu konstrukciju i sa zemunske strane, kako bi moglo da se otpočne sa betonskim radovima. U okviru njih za ovu godinu planiran je završetak donjeg stroja južnog pristupnog mosta, zatim temelji glavnog mosta i nultog segmenta na severnoj strani i konačno izgradnja donjeg stroja inundacione konstrukcije i početak izgradnje gornje konstrukcije mosta na severnim prilazima. Rok za završetak svih radova je oktobar 2014.
